The Gulf of Corinth is a small, long, semi-enclosed and very deep bay, formed between Central Greece and the Peloponnese, starting from the Ionian Sea, to the west, and ending at the Isthmus of Corinth, to the east.
It is divided into two separate sections, Patraikos and Korinthiakos, with the Rio-Antirrio strait and the homonymous bridge being their limit.
